RUNNIN' ERRANDS

Romwe two tone leather trench moto jacket/spiked leather cuff, Zara zippers riding pants, UO stripe mullet tee, vintage lace up boots, vintage leather backpack purse, vintage cross necklace, DIY leather wrap spiked/stud cuff and random rings

Over the weekend I got a shitload of questions about being a fashionable Mother.
Do I dress over the top when I volunteer at school? Does my son like it? What do the other parents think? Does it freak out the other kids/his friends? (The questions were way harsh, I had to rephrase them for you.)
Ummm duh and DUH!! This is how I dress when I'm doing regular Mom stuff...grocery shopping, washing the car, PTA meetings, the park, whateves! This is as "toned down" as Mama's gonna get boo!
Of course my son loves it...he thinks I'm the coolest blogger Mom on the planet, Janet! I don't think he would want it any other way.
As for the other parents, hahaha what they have to say about me falls on deaf ears cause I don't
GIVE A FUUUUCK!!! (middle fingers up)
And the children love me...all the little girls think I'm effin cool and always ask me to bring them something from my vintage collection. I actually gave them all heart sunnies for Xmas.

The way I dress has nothing to do with me as a parent. Looking at me you would think I'm all fun and games when it comes to my son but homie don't play that! I'm strict as FUUUUUCK! And I'm raising my son old school when it comes to morals and self respect. Yes ma'am, no ma'am, please and thank you were Ephraim's first words!
I strive to be nothing but the best for him and I'm a stay at home so I can be there for him whenever he needs me. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes cause NO ONE insults me as a parent...you got that!! My son is my life!

Those who know the real you must know what a wonderful mother you are, and your readers can clearly see through your words how dear your son is to you. People who think you need to give up who you are and your personal style when you become a mother need a serious reality check.

If anyone took the time out to read your blog, they would know that you are a wonderful mom and your son adores you. I'm so glad to see that you don't give a @&$' what other people think of you. We all have our own personal style , but most of us are to scared of what other people think to express it. Keep doing you boo, lol. You are awesome!!!!

I cant imagine how your ability to to express your true self through your clothing would make you a bad parent. If anything it should be seen as a woman who teaches her son to always be true to themselves and love past what one is wearing. I cant believe anyone could ask such questions (well I can it just sucks) I think your son will grow into a better man for having you and being loved by you than most other boys

Those people who are taking the time out of their day to try and bring you down are only choking on their own envy-and clearly because while you are out being a succesful fashion blogger and stay at home mom all at once, they are sitting alone miserable with themselves. Props to youu lady! You are truly one of a kind, and your son is very blessed to have you as a mom!

I'd love if it you were my mum! Don't let the haters get to you; they must be insecure themselves if they take the time to criticise you. They're probably just jealous because they're not yummy mummies like you are haha. NEVER change yourself for someone else, because an original is worth way more than a copy. Kisses xxx

hey! my mom was the "cool"dressed mom and it has taught me everything about fashion/self expression/and to also not give a fuuuuuuck about people and their stupid notions. That is why most of the parents that was trying to hate on my mom, have all kinds of Major problems with their family and kids..just sayin' they were too busy talkin shit instead of watchin their own yards..you know what I mean? don't let the bastards get 2 you because then they feel like they won..keep rocking, middle fingers up,and be proud.
I love it when people talk shit, because you know you are fly once you gain haters..lol

I absolutely LOVE you!! I wish you were my bestie, I swear! Your confidence is inspiring and I also feel the same way. How you dress has nothing to do with who are you and how great your parenting is. There are horrible moms out here that dress according to society's bland and one-colored rules. I think you are one of the coolest moms (besides me and my mommy) on the planet and you certainly are the best fashion blogger on EARTH!!! So fuck um, as u so eloquently put! I love you and keep doing you!!! :-)

Lovely if you were my mother I would be damn proud of you and your sense of style, I can't even believe you're a mum cos you have a body that doesn't indicate you've had children and good for you for speaking out, ignore the haters or the insults that come your way, jealousy, envy and insecurity is all they feel!

this look screams rockstar but the post screams super mom to people shouldn't judge the way you dress and base it off how you raise your kid you can be a mom and chic at the same time and you do it well!

Pfft you always look great! It's really rude that people were so harsh with questions about how your style affects your motherhood. Being a mom doesn't mean you have to give up style!

You've always been a style inspiration to me, but this post shows that you're so much more than that. Just because you're a parent doesn't mean that you have to dress a certain way, and bold fashion is no indication of bad parenting. Haters are gonna hate but you just continue to wear what you want... and we love you for it!

PREACH MAMA DUKES!!! Being a good mother has nothing to do with how you chose to dress. You look fly the way you chose to dress and they're hating because they looking all Plain Jane. I admire that despite their rude talk you hold your head up for yourself and your son because at the end of the day you know you're an amazing mother.

If I ever have my little ones in the future, you best believe I'd be ready for the same crap these people have and are saying to you.

Don't let those questions hurt you. Its crazy the things people think. When I have kids, I wanna be like you a vintage stylish momma raising my kids with all the morals and values that are dear to my heart. I'll be chaperoning the pumpkin patch field trip in my colorblocked outfit and staked wedges lool. Lawl the computer sometimes make people say and do things they wouldn't do to someone's face, and they get their values. You are an inspiration to many. I know your son is so proud to have a strong woman like you as his life guide.

You are a role model, both as a woman and a mother. I wish you would write a little pocket book with things like this...something the less fierce of us could carry around when we need inspiration to be this GREAT!

Funny how society can give this status quo of what should and ought to be. Half of these kids brought up in a "normal" household probably never muttered the word thank you, or open a door for a women hell they don't even respect their elders. You're doing a great job as far as I am concerned. I just know how jackasses can be. continue being strong!
