So my LATEST OBSESSION right now are floral fringe capelets/coverall! I would stab someone for one that has a red and black velvet burnout effect with extra long fringe, mmm YUM! I searched online and some of these people want a leg, arm, first born and your cat when it dies. Way outta my budget! So I found a shawl while thrifting that did the trick, it's gotta be a good one, with eye catching details and fringe, not your grandmother's movie shawl!  Just add 1 button or as many as you like to the front and BAM instant fringe cape. Slouch it over whatever you like. I decided to do a black out and bring your eyes straight to the capelet. Try it at home kiddos, this is probably the easiest DIY ever!

For the past couple of days I've been really busy but for some reason EXTREMELY HAPPY! I've been walking to work which helps me cut out time at the gym. Renewed my faith in Jamba Juice and bought one of those oversized calenders from Walmart to help me stay on track. I can honestly say "life is good"!!

Is it just me or is everybody over Winter and ready for Spring? Everything I've been buying lately is has been for Spring. I can't believe Texas is going to have another cold front this weekend!! Like seriously I am sooooooo OVER IT!! I'm DYING to show a little skin, geez!

Anywho wish I had more time to ramble on and on but today is my only day off and I'm off to do pictures! Thank you guys for hanging in there while I go through some minor changes. I seriously love you all and wish I could meet each and everyone of you personally. You guys say the nicest things that help me make it through to the next post!

I LOOOOOVE this dress so much, every time a walk by a mirror I get jealous of myself for having it, hahaha! No, seriously I have been searching high and low for the perfect crochet maxi dress. I love the color, the detailing and the way it falls on my body. It's as if Jimi Hendrix and Penny Lane(Almost Famous) had a baby, lol! Now I can stop fantasizing about the vintage dresses at Spanish Moss.....probably not, hehe!

How's everyone been?? It's been a long and busy week for me. I have a lot on my plate right now. New job, gym membership, volunteering at Ephraim's school, blogging, pictures, trying to get the store back open, trying to enroll in school, interviews and DIYing! I can honestly say I kinda like it! Ephraim loves it cause he gets to have a boys only night and go to afterschool when I have to work late. He's learning how to play baseball too. It's soooo CUTE! My baby's growing up, waaaaaah! YES, I'm a Crybaby Mom...every time my child accomplish something I cry! I'm just sooooo proud of him! Okay enough about my number 1 homie!

So the weather has gone from hot to cold to ugly gloomy rainy overcast, booooooooo!  But THANK SATAN cause I haven't had time to wipe my own ass these days, hahaha, jk, jk!! This time off has given me time to spruce up the old store, YAAAAAAAY! So new vintage coming at cha in like a week or so.

I know you are all wondering what's a going on with the in-laws...well....it was AWESOME, of course! It me, hello, lol! When I walked through the door I just went straight to charming Grandma. See here's the thing when meeting old people for the first time...always go for the the most loved person in the room, wear a nice vintage dress from the 40s or 50s and make sure all your tattoos are covered. Gets them EVERY TIME!! She told me I was beautiful like a bagillion time...haha THANK YOU!! Once Mom saw how much Grandma loved me she couldn't resist me neither. Giiiiirl me and old people go together like B&W stripes on a sweater, I thought you knew!

My hardest challenge was Dad cause he was doing business online the whole time but once I showed him I'm a guys' girl he loved me too. I had him crackin the FUDGE UP at my jokes, all night! 

I was soooo aiming to please, they got this Atheist to go to church with them!!! WTF, YES CHURCH!! It  was the LONGEST hour of my lifetime! I practically had a seizure from rolling my eyes so much from all  the crap that was flying outta his mouth! But it was sooooo worth it for my family's sake. Joel was extremely proud of me. He looked like he was going to cry when he said we had to go to church, hahaha! I would be scared of my reaction too! So overall I LOOOOVE my in-laws, YAAAAAAY!

I hope everyone had an AWESOME Xmas. I'm super excited for the New Year cause of all the positive changes I've made in my life. I want to keep it going....so no more drama, negativity or people around me who just aren't doing anything with their lives. That stuff can really bring you down! Do you know what it's like to wake up and not have to worry about other people problems?? AH-MAAAZING, I haven't been this happy in a looong time!! Look out 2011, here I come!

I honestly can't believe Xmas is right around the corner. It definately doesn't feel like Xmas, frickin 80 degrees out right now!! It's like it came outta nowhere. It seems like no one really decorated their houses this year either, booooooooo! 

Anywho I'm excited cause I asked for some pretty awesome things and my hubby usually gets me what I want. I want a video camera so I can vlog and show you guys my ,DIYs, a blender so I can make my own smoothies and power shakes and a gift certificate from Sephora cause I need to upgrade my makeup hardcore!! I've been really good this year so it would be nice if Santa brought me a Smart car, hahaha in my dreams!!
