Call me a snob but I HATE wearing the same thing twice, (I mean I can afford to since everything I buy is 50 cents, hehe!!), but this sweater just speaks to me so I wear it like allllllll the time! It has the perfect fit and the cutest band letterman patch, plus it's black and matches majority of my "dressed down" clothes. I can honestly say, "I LOVE THIS SWEATER!", don't you??

So tomorrow is going to be the biggest day of my life, I'm going to meet my bf's parents!! After being together for all these years it took them awhile to understand our family and accept me being black! Yes it's 2010 and interracial couples are still considered taboo in small towns in Texas! They finally see that I'm a genuine person regardless of the color of my skin. And being the person that I am I can't fault them for being closed minded. I am a little scared cause I am going to Buttfuck, TX where all the bigots live!! So wish me luck cause I will check a mf if they get outta line, hehe!

I need an assistant, STAT! I'm not gonna lie it's kinda hard doing all my pics myself but I always love the outcome. It takes me awhile to trust people. Cause when you have alot of clothes like me, girls are always trying to steal from you. That's why I rarely take people to my studio. It's like a vintage heaven. Racks for days, piles of clothes waiting to be hung, stuff still in bags, the purses and OMG shoes! So only if your lucky. I'm going to do a shoot of my studio soon, just have to get it organized. So you can see what I'm talking about.

Anywho, who's obsessed with leather shorts??? I am, I am! I'm not going to be able to wear these for long cause it's fucking hot in Houston. But when I saw these I had to instantly put them on. The color is a really awesome shade and they're buttery soft to the touch too! They were a little long so I just cuffed them under! Yay!

I have a shitload of stuff to do but I'll see you tomorrow for some fun Mother's Day pics!

I've been super busy lately trying to get my store up and running again, YAY! I hope you're excited as I am?? I'm pushing for next weekend but I'm one woman show! I do EVERYTHING myself (pics, editing, styling, being a mom, etc,etc...) I wish I had a photographer boyfriend or friends without lives but I don't so hang in there with me! Got some goodies coming!

Anywho found these lovely pants but unfortunately the were this weird bootcut. So I just had to make them skinny and perfect for ME! Lone Star's my favorite beer so it had to make a cameo! Found a snakeskin clutch in my mounds of crap and added a fleur-de-lis and gold chain handle to it. Received a shitload of jewelry from girl, Chanta! THANK YOU! I like it chunky! Boots I found at Buffalo Exchange, wish I love! And this nautical cardigan I've had FOREVER! So old with new make an AWESOME combo!

vintage black leather studded cropped jacket, DIY studded blue faux denim slouchy boyfriend blouse, sheer dots stockings, DIY silver crosses and chains, vintage gold cuff, vintage DIY studded cutout lace-up booties, DIY black head wrap and vintage metallic neon clutch purse

So from time to time I like to make my own clothes outta of old stuff. It's all about the blue boyfriend shirt for spring, so I decided to put my own spin on it. The shirt was huge so I just cut the shoulders out so it can slouch more like a dress. The edges were so jagged that why I lined it with studs. BHA-BAM, you got yourself a dress. The mini studded leather jacket I've had for a while. Found it at Buffalo Exchange for like 11 bucks. I LOVE a good find. The shoes are actually a project I'm working on. Been studding a lot of shoes (may sell them on etsy, i dunno) for fun to pass time. Since I don't have a car. But I have good news. I'm going shopping this weekend so be prepared to see me in action, well pictures, LOL! Maybe I can get a sweet deal on a new fur to add to my collection for next year! Definately upgrading my spring stuff. It's almost March so I'm getting stocked up to start selling again. Anywho, until next time!
