OFFICE SPACE

vintage leopard maxi skirt, Beginning Boutique cutouts bodysuit/cage ring, vintage crochet sheer fringe shrug capelet, old Zara yeti cropped faux fur coat, vintage southwestern belt, Mad Lady tribal cuff/lip necklace, Desperado hat, vintage cross necklaces, Romwe spiked bracelet, Gee Wa Wa boots c/o Spanish Moss and random rings

Hahaha, Joel's Mom had the audacity to buy me clothes for Christmas, lmao!! You should have seen my face, looked like  someone farted in it! Awkward...party of one.
I am hands down the HARDEST person to buy clothes for, like I would get myself a gift card!
I guess the bitch didn't like my clothes...WHATEVER MOM!

So my office is nowhere near finished, let's just say I have way to much crap to fit in one room. But I thought I'd do a couple shots anyways.
The board with the antlers is actually a jewelry stand I haven't mounted to the wall yet. I need a drill, boooooooooo. And I found the chair on the side of the road by my house...Joel HATES it, hehe! I think he's scared I'm gonna get scabies or body lice, idk.

Well this is where the magic happens, I answer all my emails and yada yada yada. On the other side is a shitload of clothes hung and throw over 2 racks, shoes everywhere and purses, lots and lots of purses!

Hope you guys enjoyed your Christmas? I had a blast...it was actually cold and not 80 degrees this year, SHOCKER!!

STRIPE THE DIFFERENCE

vintage dip dyed lace slip dress, AA stripe l/s tee & socks c/o American Apparel, Romwe two tone leather trench jacket, Zara faux fur leopard bag, Gee Wa Wa from Spanish Moss, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage cross necklace, Mad Lady tribal/peace cuffs, vintage bangles and random rings

You're seriously going to have to pry the Rit dye from my cold dead hands because I can't stop dip dyeing!! I think I did like 10 slips that day...I need help, hehe!
Okay being that I hate wearing the same thing twice, I thought I mix it up and show you how to wear the same outfit 2 different ways. Which I simply achieved by just tying the stripe tee around my waist for the second look. It's that easy! You can also just wear the slip dress without the jacket for a more grunge feel.

Which look is your fave?

Sooooo I think I jinxed myself when I said I was feeling 100% cause I am at my worst right now! Sinus infection, sore throat and chest cold plus the cough from hell! I'm literally dying over here, boooooooooo, hisssssssssss! My favorite pass time...running made me sicker for sure. Morning dew and fog is not your friend. So I'm taking a real break, like laying in the bed watching reality shows all day, ODing on medication and chicken soup...lotsa soup!

Love you all and thank you for all the love back...wtf did that make sense?
hahahaha anywho, luvs ya!

SNAKERIDER

vintage candy stripe bellbottom trousers, Kaarme Concepts Snakerider tee, DIY long fringe vest, leopard headband, vintage crochet bag with customized fringe, Gee Wa Wa booties from Spanish Moss, H&M round sunnies, Forever 21 ivory cross necklace and vintage cross necklace/bangles

The perks of blogging(at least for me) is getting to know other bloggers who love what I love! Every now then you get to meet some rad Mamas too. One of my "Blogger Mommies" I love is Hal from Halcoholic. She shows that you can still be fashionable and achieve your dreams after spitting out a kid.

Can't you see us pushing stroller together??  Lol!

Thanks Mama for the awesome tees!! My son and his colleagues thought the artwork was FRIGGIN RAD!!

SLIP IT OUT

vintage lace customized slip dresses, AA sheer sweater cape courtesy of American Apparel, vintage crochet bag with customized fringe, Spanish Moss Gee Wa Wa boots, crochet DIY turban, Mad Lady silver tribal cuffs, vintage cross necklaces, oversized turquoise cross necklace, vintage bangles and random rings

Just like any other vintage collector I'm pretty sure they own a million slip dresses or just old lingerie in general. It's definitely my go to items when I'm feel like dressing "simple". But lately I've been obsessing over them and when that happens I'm bound to make shit!
When I wear slip dresses I like to rock at least 2-3 at a time but it take FOREVER to find the the perfect lengths that match. You know one long, one short or different colors that peek out in the right places?? That shit can drive you crazy or at least me!
So I decided to just start morphing and sewing them bitches together! First I draped the the outer slip for a nice slouchy bubble effect and then sewn it to the white slip so that the lace peeked out perfectly on top. Now I have a slip dress that I can wear in public without getting the side eyes from old ladies. And if you really don't wanna look like a hooker who just got outta bed, just add a shitload of jewelry, accessories and DUH...cute shoes!!

Are you obsessed?

I'm a little busy and a lotta behind but I am getting around to emails and interviews, promise! I've just haven't had time for shit. So I'm working on it. Just know I'm happy to have you here and even if I haven't gotten around to your emails I'm at least thinking about you! LOVE YOU ALLLLLLL!!

STREET GEISHA

(everything thrifted from head to toe except shoes)
vintage floral dots kimono dress, vintage DIY destroyed slasher shorties, H&M fringe studded bucket bag, Gee Wa Wa boots from Shop Spanish Moss, vintage oversized cross necklace, white round sunnies, vintage bangles/watch and random rings

I've been obsessing over kimonos for quite sometime but they just ain't in Mama's budget! They can cost anywhere from $150 to like $300, DAMN GINA!!

So you know I had to DIY that shit!! I found this AWESOME caftan dress while moving in my stash of forget me nots.  I remember saying "When did I buy this and why the fuck haven't I worn this yet??"
I tried it on asap and it ate me up. I looked like I was on my way to a 70s graduation and all I was missing was the cap, hehe!!

So I grabbed my DIY kit, SCISSORS, and cut that bitch straight down the middle!! Added slasher shorties, Gee Wa Wa's, bun and look Ma I'm a geisha, lol!!

I'm extremely busy, like everyday it's something new and I LOVE IT!! I've always been a work horse and a show pony...yeah you can do both!! But now that I'm taking my blog more seriously I been getting opportunities left and right.
My son even hugged me and told me he's sooooo proud of me and that he loves my blog! Awwwwww kids say the funniest things! So I'm going to keep pushing and opening doors.
If you want to work with me professionally, please email me at vintagevirginblog@gmail.com.
*CRINGE* Maybe I'll take on a sponsor or two...it depends I'm VERY picky!!

Thanks for everything and I love you allllllll!

COME BACK TO TEXAS

(everything thrifted from head to toe)
vintage crochet sun dress, vintage acid wash denim studded leopard vest, vintage checkerboard cateye shades, vintage leather backpack purse, vintage cross necklace, Items by Johanna crystal necklace, DIY head scarf and vintage bangles

Ugh I seriously HATE that Bowling for Soup song but it's the only song I could think of, lol!
I'm back in Texas and boy did I miss my baby. He's gotten sooooooo big and still extremely cute, DUH!! And Joel not that bad either, hehe!
Now I just have to filter through all my pics, like a thousand if not more, get back into Mommy mode and finish decorating my place I abandoned.

New York has seriously opened my eyes and I really want to take my blog to the next level. I need to work on giving a fuck and (cringe vomit) social networking. I have this awesome opportunity so why not run with it!!

I've already started to do some minor tweaks to my blog...bigger pics, font etc. I also added a like on Bloglovin' button so you can really show the bloggerverse how much you LOVE me!! It'll only take like a second just to click it so hook your girl up.

Idk, I'm excited and happy to be back but still a little heartbroken about leaving my bestie. Love you girl and thanks for the southern hospitality in fast paced New York! I really needed that!

Love you all and thanks for joining me on my insane vintage journeys. It's been a great year and a half and you guys are still there rooting me on. THANK YOU from the bottom of my vintage heart!!
