STRIPE THE DIFFERENCE

vintage dip dyed lace slip dress, AA stripe l/s tee & socks c/o American Apparel, Romwe two tone leather trench jacket, Zara faux fur leopard bag, Gee Wa Wa from Spanish Moss, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage cross necklace, Mad Lady tribal/peace cuffs, vintage bangles and random rings

You're seriously going to have to pry the Rit dye from my cold dead hands because I can't stop dip dyeing!! I think I did like 10 slips that day...I need help, hehe!
Okay being that I hate wearing the same thing twice, I thought I mix it up and show you how to wear the same outfit 2 different ways. Which I simply achieved by just tying the stripe tee around my waist for the second look. It's that easy! You can also just wear the slip dress without the jacket for a more grunge feel.

Which look is your fave?

Sooooo I think I jinxed myself when I said I was feeling 100% cause I am at my worst right now! Sinus infection, sore throat and chest cold plus the cough from hell! I'm literally dying over here, boooooooooo, hisssssssssss! My favorite pass time...running made me sicker for sure. Morning dew and fog is not your friend. So I'm taking a real break, like laying in the bed watching reality shows all day, ODing on medication and chicken soup...lotsa soup!

Love you all and thank you for all the love back...wtf did that make sense?
hahahaha anywho, luvs ya!

REFEREE

(everything thrifted from head to toe except shoes)
vintage 50s band cardi, vintage neon orange cords, vintage B&W stripe referee tee, vintage B&W stripe clutch, Jeffrey Campbell Slovang woodies, white round Lennon sunnies, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage cross necklaces, vintage bangles and random rings

You remember a few post back when I was raving about bold colors for the Fall/Winter? Well this is what I'm talking about. I want some action when I walk down the street. Like I want you to see me from a block away...I want you to say WTF, holy Mary of Satan and chat amongst your friends about me! Ugh I love that!!

You may have seen these cords before, here, but for some reason they pop more with the bolder B&W. I know I'm a bit matchy matchy but it's okay if you do it right. The key to matching is that solids and prints are BFFs. The orange cords and the referee tee could have been worn together alone but the cardi of the same colors pull it all in...like DAMN! Add shades, hat, stripe clutch and a shitload of jewelry!! You know how much I love a good shitload of jewelry? Lol!

So try this look at home with some of your favorite vintage pieces but don't go overboard. A subtle solid pop of color can go a long way and it doesn't have to be the same exact color, it can be in the same color family. I seriously HATE that and don't wear ANY jewelry that the same color you're wearing neither, yuck!! Tacky as fuuuuuck! VOMIT!

Well gotta go and do Mom stuff since the rain has finally stopped! LOVE YOU ALL!!

IT'S A STITCH

Stitch Union polka dot batwing blouse, thrifted red skinnies, vintage leather motorcycle jacket, vintage B&W stripe clutch, Lulu's triple platform buckle wedges wih customized studs by me, white round sunnies, vintage white bow tie, Mad Lady tribal cuff, vintage bangles and random rings

Maybe I'm just crazy but is anyone else OBSESSED with batwing blouses? Like nowadays I feel weird in a "regular" blouse. The sleeves are too tight or the bottom just don't drape right.
Whoever thought of it first...I fucking LOVE you!! You changed my life and I'm never going back.
Blouses, blouses, blouses! I feel like I didn't say it enough before, lol!
What is the least old ladies at lunch term for blouse, hmmm? (Scratching my head!!)

Thank you Stitch Union for the awesome top to add to my crazy obsession!!

Anywho, I'm feeling a whole lot better, almost back at 100% and no more sicky poo! And I think I'm finally used to Joel leaving for long periods of time for work. Cause yesterday did not phase me! Usually I'm like falling on the floor crying but this time I was cool, calm and collected. WEIRD!! I miss my baby but I guess I know he'll be back from Glasgow on the 14th.

Thanks for all the love and I will be forcing my ass to sit down this weekend and answer emails! Here's the thing about emails...I get like 10 a day and by the time I read them, I have 10 more to read the next day. I'm one of those let me answer back from the heart ass mofos! So they just keep getting backed up to the point where it takes me FOREVER to get back to you. I would apologize but that's life!

DARKNESS TURNS TO LIGHT

vintage safari romper, Romwe two toned leather trench jacket, Zara faux fur leopard bag, vintage chain belt, Mad Lady tribal cuffs, random rings, Gee Wa Wa booties from Spanish Moss, oversized turquoise cross and elephant necklace

Since the weather has been changing from hot to cold to cold to hot, I've been sicker than a dog who ate chocolate, grass and it's own shit!
So sorry no rants and raves today! But I would like to thank you for all you positive feedback on my last post. I have a 13 yrs old niece who looks up to me and copy my every move. So I would never put my life or her life in danger over something so stupid as an eating disorder!

OOH THE MADNESS...

Romwe Madness vampire red lips fringe tee, vintage DIY destroyed denim shorties, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage leather backpack purse, eBay Max Star platform chucks, white round Lennon sunnies, Mad Lady cuffs, vintage bangles, vintage cross necklace, Items by Johanna crystal necklace and random rings

It must be that time of year again when mofo's thinks it's okay to harass me about my weight. Now these losers are saying I'm a bad role model for young black girls cause I'm "anorexic skinny", hahahahaha! Ummm hello are you looking at the same pics I'm looking at? Never in my life have I've seen an anorexic girl with ass and thighs like mine. Seriously, I'm skinny but naturally skinny and well proportioned for my height. (5'4, 100 lbs, which I've been for the past 10 years, even after giving birth to a 10lbs 12oz baby!) It's called petite, morons!

These bitches act like they never seen a skinny black person before. I mean not all black females have elephant asses, monster tits and bangin curves, geez! I've been picked on my entire life for being thin so I can laugh about now. Hahahaha I look AH-MAZING and you can't take it!

Like THANK SATAN I'm old enough to not let negative things and quotes affect me anymore. All bullshit aside, I just wanted to speak up for others who have to go through the same shit. There are naturally skinny girls in the world...open your eyes and get over it! Stop being an idiot and educate yourself.

I'm here, I'm thin and I've never thrown up or rejected food in my life! Sooooo eat shit and die!

I have to thank all my readers for their support and all the positive feedback, I love you all. It's tough being a blogger but somebody's gotta do it!

I DYE TO LIVE

(everything thrifted/vintage from head to toe)
vintage crochet sweater DIY dipped dyed by me, vintage Frye DIY cropped booties, vintage ethnic fringe bucket bag, Target trouser socks, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage southwestern buckle belt, turquoise cross, elephant and vintage cross necklaces, Mad Lady turquoise and triple stone rings and vintage skintight mini dress underneath

10 years ago I would have been the girl you beat up for making her own clothes...you know what I'm talking about?? Hahaha, nowadays who gives a fuck!!

Yeah I DIYed majority of my outfit, sweater and booties. The sweater was dipped dyed in "black" but turned out this faded navy purple which I LOOOOVE! Which turned this plain old crochet into fucking cro-HEEEEY!! I'm telling you a little bit of Rit dye can go a long way. Even save a life!!

Now the booties I have had like FOREVER and only bought them cause they were vintage Frye boots. LABEL WHORE! They were all kinds of jacked up, knee hi and too wide for my legs so I whacked them by cutting off the top. Then folded it inside until I got the perfect ankle height and sealed with Shoe Goo. Me likey cause they were already worn in, beaten up and scrunched! They was pretty much asking for it!
Now I can stop obsessing over the ones online that are waaaaaay outta my budget, like up to frickin' 200-300 bucks dude! Like my wallet is just hurting thinking about it.
So if you got some old knee hi boots laying around the house I recommend you cut them for a fresh new look!

Love y'all,
Virgin
