Over the weekend I got a shitload of questions about being a fashionable Mother. 

Do I dress over the top when I volunteer at school? Does my son like it? What do the other parents think? Does it freak out the other kids/his friends? (The questions were way harsh, I had to rephrase them for you.)

Ummm duh and DUH!! This is how I dress when I'm doing regular Mom stuff...grocery shopping, washing the car, PTA meetings, the park, whateves! This is as "toned down" as Mama's gonna get boo!

Of course my son loves it...he thinks I'm the coolest blogger Mom on the planet, Janet! I don't think he would want it any other way.

As for the other parents, hahaha what they have to say about me falls on deaf ears cause I don't

And the children love me...all the little girls think I'm effin cool and always ask me to bring them something from my vintage collection. I actually gave them all heart sunnies for Xmas. 

The way I dress has nothing to do with me as a parent. Looking at me you would think I'm all fun and games when it comes to my son but homie don't play that! I'm strict as FUUUUUCK! And I'm raising my son old school when it comes to morals and self respect. Yes ma'am, no ma'am, please and thank you were Ephraim's first words! 

I strive to be nothing but the best for him and I'm a stay at home so I can be there for him whenever he needs me. I'm writing this with tears in my eyes cause NO ONE insults me as a parent...you got that!! My son is my life!

If you don't see me from a mile away in this...yo ass is BLIND! I think even if you're colorblind you could see me, lol! 

I found these neon hotties a few years back thrifting. I remember finding the pants first and being excited just from the frickin' pants alone but as I was standing in line I noticed the same print sticking out a little bit. I did the most daring thing EVER and I got out of line to check. Let me remind you there's AT LEAST 15-20 people behind me and I've been standing in line for 30 minutes!!! So I took a huge fucking risk and found out it was the matching top and also a size small. YEEEEEESSSS, I did the "in yo face dance" and I'm pretty sure everyone was giving me the "you dumb bitch, you just lost your place in line face", hahaha but it was all worth it!

Anywho, I hope you guys had a awesome New Years? My night was a blast and very chill this year. I spent it with my #1 man, Ephraim and we did the countdown together at midnight, followed by Ephraim crying because he couldn't have champagne! So now I know next year to get the boy some sparkling cider, lol! 

Overall I'm so ready to kick off 2012. My resolutions this year are to stay on a positive track in life, continue eating non processed foods and fast food and keep being a great mom to Ephraim. Idk, what's your resolutions for 2012?

Oh yeah and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hahaha, Joel's Mom had the audacity to buy me clothes for Christmas, lmao!! You should have seen my face, looked like  someone farted in it! Awkward...party of one.

I am hands down the HARDEST person to buy clothes for, like I would get myself a gift card!

I guess the bitch didn't like my clothes...WHATEVER MOM!

So my office is nowhere near finished, let's just say I have way to much crap to fit in one room. But I thought I'd do a couple shots anyways.

The board with the antlers is actually a jewelry stand I haven't mounted to the wall yet. I need a drill, boooooooooo. And I found the chair on the side of the road by my house...Joel HATES it, hehe! I think he's scared I'm gonna get scabies or body lice, idk.

Well this is where the magic happens, I answer all my emails and yada yada yada. On the other side is a shitload of clothes hung and throw over 2 racks, shoes everywhere and purses, lots and lots of purses!

Haha you know me I'm all about the ass and thighs...so I'm throwing it all up in ya face on this post, lol!!

Anywho, who's excited about Christmas?? Me me me!! I've already opened some of my gifts since I'm one impatient bastard. Sorry but you can't just have boxes with my name on it sitting around for too long, I'm going to wanna open that shit! And I did, hehe.

I got a new tripod, of course since Trip died on me, but there was this one big box, that strike me as odd since I didn't ask for anything big this year. I was squirming and asking the usual, "What's in there?"

Joel finally folded yesterday and gave me this sweet speech about how much he loves me, supports my blogging and just so proud of me in general. I was like, uh huh uh huh and thinking what the fuck is in that box!

I opened it and literally sound like one of those people you see spazzin out on a youTube video, crying about their new iPad or some shit like that! 

OMG he got me a studio lighting kit with all the bells and whistles!! You know the fancy smancy shit you see on a real photoshoot?  (The umbrella lights, softboxes and camera remote.) I've been whining about the weather and how it's too cold for outside shots but also too dark for inside ones. I just can't believe he listened! 

Man dude Joel is really hookin' my ass up this year!! Love ya boo!

Used them for this post, btw...LOVE THEM!! The lighting is insane, my sitting room is completely dark and it lit that bitch up like BAM! It's just so natural looking. Ugh I can't wait to play around with it more. You know what this means?? MORE POST, FUCK YEEEEAAAAAH!

Oh my Satan this has been the most overwhelming and humbling week ever! Like I'm one of those people if you give me a compliment, I'm going to thank you with the biggest smile, hand on the chest  with the "REALLY" face, you know the whole sha-bang! That's just how I was raised. So all this extra attention has got me blushing non-stop.

First I want to thank NiaSays for mentioning me in her vlog. It was insane watching her usual ramblings on youTube and all of a sudden she's talking about how amazing my blog is! I was like WHAT, NO WAY...rewind, replay! So that was pretty cool. You can check that video out here.

I'm still in awe about the whole Teen Vogue thing too! I can spill the beans now...I'm going to be joining their Blogger Boutique which includes...hosting events all over the country/my hometown, appear on the pages of Teen Vogue mag and work with some of the sponsors of T.V.

I almost cried people, CRIED!

My mind is blown but wait there's one more thing...I'm going to be on a Bershka tee! They're an awesome company in Spain that asked to buy my prints a few months ago. They also work with Zara so I'm hoping to see it there too, FINGERS CROSSED! I'm going to blab about that more in my next post for sure.

Wow shit is gettin' crazy over here at VV! Being the nonchalant bitch that I am, Mama's actually getting uber excited for things to come in 2012. I just have no words to truly explain how I feel.

 Call me crazy but I'm OBSESSED with my own shirt! Like the other day at a coffee shop I caught a glimpse of myself, through a crowd of people, in the mirror and thought it was someone else wearing it. I was like WTF and was about to go over there, beat that bitch up and ask her "Where did you get MY shirt, you slore?" Then I realized it was just little ole me, hehe!!

Added spikes to make you holla! It just felt so right as soon as I ripped open the package, my brain went SPIKES! Now it's a trio not to be fucked with...denim, leather and spikes, YIKES!!

The weather has been complete and utter shit lately! Like overcast city followed by rain and a cold front...that last like a couple of hours then back to sunshine town, boooooooooo! So over it.

I may be doing pics inside the house the next couple of days. I'm super scared of getting sick again. 

Anywho I've been uber busy and beginning to understand why you need an agent in this crazy blog world. You get offered opportunities left and right but you have no idea on how to handle the business side of blogging. You don't know if you're getting fucked and signing your life away. Thank Satan I've been staying true to myself and making good decisions on my own but somedays I need help.

Are there any bloggers/readers out there who have an agency? Can you still make all your own decisions? I really don't wanna be someone's bitch or puppet! Let me know.

Don't worry I'm not about to become some douchebag dipped in all designer duds and take you on all my boring adventures to stores I can't really afford and feel uncomfortable in. I'm still going to be me...VV! I just wanna show you that you don't always have to go that route.
