vintage 90s chunky lace up boots

Oh go ahead and say it...SAY IT!! I know these shoes are ugly as fuck and I loooooove them! As Ephraim put it "gothic clown shoes", lol! I've always liked ugly chunky boots from the 90s but never had the balls to buy them cause I didn't know if I could make them work with my skinny legs.

Well I found these yesterday while thrifting in my favorite spot. It's always a clusterfuck as soon as you walk through the door, so shoes are hard to find. I actually tripped over these mofos and almost broke my neck which I assumed was destiny or a sign from the Vintage Gods. And for 50 cents...SOLD!

I immediately went home and add studs to the front for that extra edge.

THRIFT STORE FINDS

I get a lot of questions about what I find thrifting or what I look for. So since I found so much shit thrifting the other day I felt I had to share it with you!! You're going to die when you find out how much I spent on allllllllll this...$12, yep!! WTF, no way, get the fuck outta town but it's true! I have a spot where everything's 50 cents and I always leave with a shitload of trash bags stuffed to the brim with vintage goodies. Or whatever my little VW Golf can carry, hehe!

STRIPE THE DIFFERENCE

vintage dip dyed lace slip dress, AA stripe l/s tee & socks c/o American Apparel, Romwe two tone leather trench jacket, Zara faux fur leopard bag, Gee Wa Wa from Spanish Moss, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, vintage cross necklace, Mad Lady tribal/peace cuffs, vintage bangles and random rings

You're seriously going to have to pry the Rit dye from my cold dead hands because I can't stop dip dyeing!! I think I did like 10 slips that day...I need help, hehe! 

Okay being that I hate wearing the same thing twice, I thought I mix it up and show you how to wear the same outfit 2 different ways. Which I simply achieved by just tying the stripe tee around my waist for the second look. It's that easy! You can also just wear the slip dress without the jacket for a more grunge feel. 

Which look is your fave?

Sooooo I think I jinxed myself when I said I was feeling 100% cause I am at my worst right now! Sinus infection, sore throat and chest cold plus the cough from hell! I'm literally dying over here, boooooooooo, hisssssssssss! My favorite pass time...running made me sicker for sure. Morning dew and fog is not your friend. So I'm taking a real break, like laying in the bed watching reality shows all day, ODing on medication and chicken soup...lotsa soup!
