Yaaaaaay THANK SATAN Blogger is working for me again! Now that I'm like double time behind in outfit posts, BOOOOOOOOO! Yeah I suck in the computer department, lol!

Anywhooooo, it's actually cold in the Great State of Texas! I've been freezing my ass off on my bike every morning for the past week! I was "Damn Gina, it's cold, hahaha!" So this is my last and final summer outfit post, scout's honor. I've literally gone from sweating like a hooker in church to a chihuahua who needs a sweater!!!

When it's HOT out I don't give a fuck if you can see my mom gut or not! I used to be really insecure about my stretch mark which seriously look like I was attacked by a lions, tigers and bears! Now a say FUCK YOU, I had a 10 lbs 12 oz baby! If you don't like it go throw up over there!! Everyone has something they HATE about themselves. You just have to LOVE what you got!! So to make up for my fucked up stomach, I embrace my ass and legs! And face, hehe!!

So this is how I got the name VintageVirgin because head to toe vintage is my signature look. I don't just go there I go ALL THE WAY THERE without making it look costumey! Plus we love each other and vintage will never do me wrong!! So I'm a little excited about polyester pimpin' this F/W!

Another thing I'm excited about is doing a Pop Up Shop with Brandi over a MuchoMuchoBuenoBueno!She's my Tuesday thrifting buddy/old friend from when I had something called "a job!" 8 yrs of pure vintage bliss! I'm literally going to be selling my clothes on the street, kinda. So if you live in Houston it's your lucky day. I'll have more info in a later post as far as location and date goes.
Due to the week or so off  I have soooooo many outfits to post. I'm going to try and post everyday so keep checking daily. I would hate for you to miss out or be a day behind, lol!

I'M BACK!!

Man dude I was almost a goner!! You know the phrase "Keep you day job"? Well Joel you should definately stick to underwater engineering cause computers are not your thing babe! Right before he walked out the door he decide to do a scan and delete some things off the computer so it can run faster. And ended up deleting EVERYTHING!! My blog literally flashed before my eyes! I was like 5 weeks without blogging NO WAY! I like live on the internet, kinda. Not like to where I don't have a personal life or anything like that!

I did a system recovery, so I'm back in full effect. And THANK SATAN I keep all my pics on backup bitches! I learned my lesson long ago that computers are NOT you friends! They secretly hate you and wanna ruin you life. True story, lol!

I missed and love you all and can't wait to get back to doing what I do. Which is supply yall with shit you never seen before, bitch about the Texas heat and ramble on and on about how much I LOVE being a mom! My F/W is going to be cra cra! I don't even know where to start.

So it's still is hot as fuck during the day in Texas but mornings and late night AH-MAZING! Ahhhh that morning bike ride to school is my favorite time of the day. Nice and breezy then peace and quiet til 3pm!! That's what dreams are made of.

Well since it's starting to cool down, I'm pretty sure this will be my last Summer outfit. I'm soooooo over it! My last shopping trips has consist of Fall shit! Crochet sweater dresses, bells, lace anything, riding pants, slouchy blouses and nylons. So peace out Summer it's time for me to put some clothes on.

So I've been working extra hard trying to get as many outfits in before Joel leaves. Since he will have the laptop(boooooooooo)I won't have access to Picasa to edit my pics. Don't worry I will still be posting outfits!! I'm just letting you know if things slow down for me, this is the reason why. 

I think once Joel is gone I'll been that ole Virgin again! It's just hard to be witty and all heys and hi when the love of your life who you hang out with like everyday is leaving for a month! :( HEARTBROKEN but distance makes the heart grow fonder of some shit like that!!

So when I first got online today I was all " Yay rainbows and sparkles" then I posted a look on lookbook and someone commented  "EWWW NIGGER!" WTF LOOKBOOK!! I tried giving them a second chance since the whole make it open and not invite only anymore thing. This is why you need to have strict rules and filters on sites like that!! I notice that at time I may be the only black girl on there but it doesn't affect my style or me as a person. To be honest I've never judged anyone cause of their COLOR! Calling people racial slurs is sooooooo 1920s!!! I'm so diverse I forget I'm black!! I guess sometimes you gotta take your anger out on someone. Online is definitely that place, lol!

So let's turn that frown upside down!! Don't you love my blouse? Uh hmmm!! It's so pretty but laidback like me, your homie VV, hahaha!!! Sometimes it just take a simple blouse to lightin' up a casual outfit!! Since I'm up at the crack of dawn I can wear light blouses when I run errands. But when 11 am hits YOU'RE DONE!! Honestly back to school and Joel leaving on a business trip has got me all outta whack! Fingers crossed I will get back on track since I lost my photographer, Ephraim, due to school starting. I knew this day would come and now I have to get off my lazy ass and take my own pictures, boooooooooooo!

Recently I was approached by Mickey from MiH Jeans to review her jeans. (Who found me on StyleCaster and read my post about how much I LOVE bellbottoms.) I stumbled upon these bad boys and almost DIED! So when she told me she would send me a pair I died, went to heaven and still came back as a vintage junkie!! Thank you sooooo much Mickey for the bells!! I'm going to be buried in them, lol!!

I decided to combine 2 of my LATEST OBSESSIONS: bellbottoms and crochet! Which gave birth to my lovely purse and belt! The headwrap was a given and since they go all the way to the floor I lifted myself with some stacked platforms. Don't forget a shitload of jewelry and classic wayfarers! Then we skipped all the way home, lalalalala!!

Did you miss me?? I miss you guys! Got a little caught up in real life shit and back to school stuff. I also got the worst news of my life!! My Joel's going on a business trip to Africa for a whole month! Yes a WHOLE MONTH, boooooooooo! I'm going to die not seeing that face every morning but that's what I get for dating an underwater engineer. It comes with the job. :( So I'm really going to be living my life online through IMs and what not. "yay"
