OMG it's hot as fuck, like 105 degrees out here! I couldn't even concentrate cause I had sweat dripping down my legs. Polyester + fucking hot heat = DISASTER! I took a few shots in the shadows before melting my face off completely. Idk I may have to take pics in the house until I go to New York next week. Oh yeah I'm going to NY next week to visit my bestie of course but I'm also going for work. Which I will share with you when that time comes...you know you have to keep that shit on the low low! I'm sooooo excited cause I get to see my bestie for 10 days and make a little cash on the side!

I'm just so happy right now and literally smiling from ear to ear! I don't know where this blog will take me but I'm enjoying the ride so far. I do wish my son was here though :( he has the best response to big news, like it starts with laughter then tears of joy and then he jumps around in a circle. Hahaha kids are so funny sometimes. Okay breathe this is suppose to be a happy moment...

I thought I would share with you guys some cool shizz that has happened in my "blogger life." I'm a Texas girl so everything is huge to me, lol!

I was recently interviewed for Foam Magazine "Blogger of the Week" which was pretty cool since I practically own ever issue, well Joel does...cool by association, ha. But their magazine is full of beautiful photos that make you wanna book the next flight to anywhere that has a beach, music and art. So I was a little shocked when they were interested in my vintage craziness...thank you so much!

 And I was also mentioned on the Jeffrey Campbell blog for my insane DIY spiked Tardy boots I made awhile back.Who doesn't love some JCs? So I was beyond happy, like a kid who had Skittles for the first time, that they loved my DIY!

All these opportunities pouring in are so overwhelming awesome and everyday I'm like what's going to happen next. A simple hobby like blogging has opened doors I wouldn't imagine and I am extremely thankful for everything...even you guys!

How to battle the Texas heat? Wear a shirt with massive cutouts in it, lol! Seriously it hot as fuck out here and I'm talking 85 degrees by 7am. So anything to beat the heat is all up in my wardrobe right now.
A high split on a skirt doesn't hurt either, well this is actually a dress. I just tucked the top in cause it was clashing with my other top and I really wanted to wear my leather bralet. So the dress kinda like a 2-in-1...which is perfect for a girl who like to get a lot and not spend a lot.

I always try to go for simplicity but it's so hard when you're me so I added the studded skull clutch and leopard wedges. Ugh I just can't help myself...SUE ME!

Anywho, busy a fuck and not in a fun way! I have deadlines coming out the wazoo but strangely I'm smiling through it. I've grown a lot in the past 2 years and would have never thought I would make it this far. So thank you everyone for the support and for sticking in there while I go on this crazy ride through the "blog world!" Middle fingers up the whole way of course, lol!
