vintage crochet dress from Reluctant Damsel, vintage DIY leopard faux pony platform maryjanes, vintage beanie hat, vintage 2 tone buckle bag, wayfarer sunnies, vintage oversized cross necklace, vintage bangles, black opaque tights and B.E. rings
The one thing I LOVE the most about my hubby is he's either borderline gay or has got great taste in women's clothes! He found me this AH-MAZING crochet dress on etsy before he went offshore. He knew I've been obsessing over crochet for quite some time. He thought it would soften the blow of him leaving for a month.(uh no, didn't help.) Seriously the boy can do no wrong. THANK YOU Babylove! mwah!
I know I'm a little late but did everyone enjoy their Thanksgiving? Satan knows I did. It was like an all you can eat buffet. I've never been sooo thankful to be black in my life! Soul food is THA SHIZNIT!!
If you never had it before you should probably hate yourself, it's that DAMN GOOD!
Anywho I have sooooo much on my plate right now. I'm excited to be working with some new up and coming companies. It's easier to work with fresh companies cause I feel like we're on the same level since I'm new to this too. If you ever want to work with me just email me at Make sure you scroll through my blog first to see what my style is all about before emailing me! Cause I'm not desperate for clothes, lol!
Can't wait til tomorrow, I'm supposed to get a CRAPLOAD of stuff in the mail! Fingers crossed, I don't want the postman to think I'm cra cra, standing outside waiting, asking did you get anything with my name on it, hahaha!

faux FUR

(everything thrifted from head to toe except pants)
vintage sheer cropped blouse, Zara zipper skinny rider pants, DIY faux fur hat, DIY leopard faux pony platform maryjanes, vintage oversized cross/bangles and B.E. rings
So I was bored the other day and had some extra faux fur leftover after making my purse. Decided to make a matching hat, YAAAAAYS!
I'm really into alot of volume on top and skintight bottoms this season. These are hands-down my favorite pants, you can honestly wear them with everything!! Plus they suck you all in, have you lookin FINE!!
With this wishy-washy Texas weather you need a good blouse. I always rely on a sheer flowy barely there top. Perfect for bike rides too. I finally get to debut my shoes with an outfit. I am just head over heels in love with them! Sometimes I find myself just sitting on the couch with them on. I LOVE to be freakishly tall, it's like a match made in HELL!
Moving on to something really important. I was recently asked to join the Fashion Click by Teen Vogue. It's pretty much a link to your blog through Teen and a great way to get yourself out there and meet other bloggers. Cause I know it's hard to find a good blog these days, why not just go to the source? Even though I'm like 50 I thought this would be an excellent opportunity! I was shocked that they asked me but the good new is you can join too! Just click here to apply and follow the instructions. I was happy to see some of my favorite blogger buddies on there already. Can't wait to see you too!

(everything thrifted from head to toe)
vintage DIY shredder sweater, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, DIY fur muff chain bag, DIY leopard oversized scarf, gray thigh hi sweater socks, vintage DIY distressed platform boots,  vintage turtoise shell sunnies, vintage bangles/watch and B.E. rings
So I'm wearing another lovely bulk of DIY creations! I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll start with my scarf. It's honestly a dress I was taking off the other day and realized bunched up around my neck it made an awesome scarf! Hahaha what can I say frickin' I'm cheap! Now my sweater/jumper took FOREVER! It was like an itch you couldn't scratch. I was going for that Alexander Wang sweater but I just could not stop shredding to save my life. So I decided to do both side. Reminds me of a rib cage for some reason. Idk, I LOVE IT!!
You can see a close-up of my boots here. Cut off the top, made the heels, spray paint, yada yada yada! And I have to make sacrifices every time I wear this bag cause I'm highly allergic to it. I guess it had some leftover pet dander from the 60s, lol!
Hope everyone's having a good weekend? I will be once I finally free myself of an old friend today! I'm so over people bringing me down, treat me like crap but expect me to hold them up and listen to their high school/work drama. It time to GROW UP, there are way more important things in life! I can't carry you NO MORE dude! Geez I've haven't been this happy in YEARS! Ahhhhh all that excess weight I can breathe again! I'm pretty sure everyone has come across a friend like that once or twice in their life. It's just time to cut the cord! SNIP!
Love you all, you practically made me!

HIDING in the SHADOWS from the SUN

(everything thrifted from head to toe except shoes)
vintage Americano letterman sweater, vintage chambray man shirt, vintage bow I got off a dress, vintage felt ranger hat, suede Zara wedge booties, vintage leather bag backpack purse, wayfarer sunnies, vintage bangles and B.E. rings
OMFG the weather here has been AH-MAZING!! Perfect for a fur coat and a bike ride, which I accomplished this morning, WEEEEEEEEE!
Went to Cherryhurst Park the other day but it turned out to be a Mommy and Me/1st birthday party, LAME! I must be a different kind of mom cause I would never be at the park, on a Tuesday at 9am, freezing cold with a bunch of crying fuckers around you. Unless it's for pictures of course, hahaha!! So I had to work the other side of the park. Which turned out AWESOME!!
I'm soooo happy it's almost Winter cause now it's cool enough to wear my overly excessive blush! Fuck pink cheeks, I'm more like pink jaws! Oh I LOVE blush! It accentuates my chocolate skin just the way I like it.
Anywho I'm slowly approaching/obsessing over menswear. Growing up I always thought I looked like a boy cause I was the only one out of my sisters to look EXACTLY like my dad. Take the hair away and it would be a little Willie Ray! Once I get over my complex I think I can pull it off. For me this look was just a start. I would DIE for a tailored leather suit, ooh with skinny leather pants! Shiiiit I would even go for a pleather or faux! I think I should look into that. Shopping online........NOW!
Thanks for showing me LOVE on a daily! Guess what??

(everything thrifted from head to toe)
vintage DIY cropped leopard tail blouse, vintage velvet Guess shorts, vintage Smokey the Bear hat, DIYed platform boots, DIYed fur muff bag, grey sweater thigh hi socks, wayfarer sunnies, vintage bangles/watch, vintage oversized cross necklace and B.E. rings
I'm like a walking DIY machine! I'm totally the girl you beat up for making her own clothes, better yet shoes and purse, LOL!
I told you I was OBSESSED with leopard! Every time I see this print I go awwwwwww and I get this high like drinking coffee on an empty stomach! It makes me CRAZY! Recently bought a drawstring leopard faux fur bag from Zara, which you will soon see hanging from my arm. No matter what form it comes in I want it.
So recently I've been working on a little something called "organization" cause I SUCK at it! It takes me like weeks to answer emails, I forget deadlines, lose a pieces of clothing and sometimes I just flat out forget to post. This is something I will have to achieve if I want to be a better blogger. So if you feel neglected cause I haven't answered your emails, I'm working on it.
Thanks for loving me and my so called blog!

Take a PICTURE, It'll last LONGER!

Just some random pics I forgot to post! Some days you just get caught up in something called a life!
1. SHEER SHIT! Before Madonna had a British accent and they opened the Model's Cafe, you wore a slouchy sheer shirt in the 90s!  It looks like that time again!
2. Getting there is half the FUN with my vintage Care Bears suitcase! Which doubles as my jewelry case, hehe!
3. Coat rack of all my faves I wear in the Winter! Yes that's a leather Minnie Mouse jacket!
4. So I was trying to take pics of myself in the grocery store but almost got kicked out. So I came up with this idea. It's a little project I'm working on. There will be more.
5. Showing off my mini Kardashians ass, lol! I'm actually laying on my back on the floor with my legs up, I just flipped it. Playing around with these tinted lenses that came with my camera.
6. That's my grandmother's cosmetology book from when she was in school. It's so old they had letters in their telephone numbers, WEIRD!!
7. Probably had the some killer MUNCHIES! Idk, hahaha!
8. FUCKING SWEET American flag fanny pack for only 50 cents! It was a good day my friend!
9. Hanging out in DQ country with Brandi! That's what I like about Texas!!
10. Running to the liquor store before they close, jk, jk! Blooper shot.
